BEER!

This beer, this beer here: Caribou Slobber . We brewed this today and from all accounts it's supposed to be mind blowing. I can believe it if the smell and taste of the wort is to be an indicator. Sweet, caramel, and hops with just a touch of spiciness
.

Caribou slobber is supposed to be just as good as Moose Drool by Big Sky Brewing. This recipe takes 6 weeks to complete. 2 weeks in the primary, 2 weeks in the secondary, and then 2 weeks bottle conditioning.
It's going to be a loooooong wait. Not only did we have a lovely thick extract syrup, but we also put in a bag of dry malt extract which we had not yet had experience with.
Today we also had our first boilover.
:sigh: yes, we weren't paying attention. I'm going to be smelling burnt extract for WEEKS when I turn that burner on. Lesson learned. I'm sure every brewer must learn it.
Now comes, the wait.

Today, I began a new chapter.

Battle For Tripoli.

For those who do not remember history lessons, the 1825 battle for Tripoli was between Sardinia and Tripoli. Tripoli was accustomed to Sardinia paying them tribute. When the consul arrived and did not have the requisite tribute, Tripoli expelled the consul and declared war on the Sardinians. Eventtually the Sardinians triumphed and the tribute to Tripoli ended.
In Dragon Masters, the Battle of Tripoli is similar, but not quite the same. Tribute is demanded by those who claim to be Archons, representatives for the Hierophant. When the tribute is not forthcoming the alleged Archons turn on the fishermen of Tripoli Lake, decimating them, stealing their women and children, and poisoning their fish stocks. The women become little more than slaves.

It is here that the Hierophant will discover the depths to which people will step to gain power. Will she be able to bring together the people of the new planet?
